It's a good thing to have this coalliation from these big companies in something very important nowadays such as "Privacy". But, when you see the members list on Digial Due Process site, you realise companies names well known for doing business based by anaytic users' behaviour and internet activities, simply "users' privacy".
I remember Facebook founder of Facebook said people willingly disclosing their information today than was in the past, in this interview. Also, most of us aware of Google's Buzz privacy issue.
When you read DDP's principles you might be amazed like me, not becuase of these principles. But, they way they mainpulate the fact that privacy is a risk to their business model as shown here.
They need to give us a feeling that your privacy is protected by law as shown in this vedio.
Privacy means users would have control of their data to authorise access, know who have access to their data.
